We recently had the pleasure of attending and capturing Adam & Phuong’s magical wedding day at the Lemnos by Clarence House in Belmore, a suburb in West Sydney, New South Wales.
Unfortunately though the weather was a bit gloomy, with heavy rain pelting down in the morning all the way through to the night. Fortunately for our team, we’re able to create amazing memories regardless of what the weather situation is!
We split up in the morning with both teams starting simultaneously at Adam’s and at Phuong’s.
Adam and the boys were having a few hearty drinks and finishing up on breakfast and started getting changed into their suits. Adam started reading his bride to be’s love letter and he could not hold back emotions and teared up, it definitely was quite emotional.
In contrast at the bride preparations, Phuong and the girls were getting their hair and makeup completed in time for the Tea Ceremony, which is an asian tradition where the Groom comes over to the Bride’s house and asks for her hand officially.
Adam and the groomsmen arrived at the Bride’s family house and were carrying a large roast pig along with each groomsman holding a bowl of gifts each. These are handed over to the bridesmaids and the bride’s side of the family as an offering.
After the Bride and Groom offered tea to the close relatives of both sides, they were allowed to finally have a kiss!
Due to the heavy rain, we had to quickly dash off to the wedding ceremony which was to be held at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Marrickville.
Phuong walked down the aisle with her father and Adam could not hold back his tears at all, she looked absolutely stunning and we could see why! The ceremony was attended by friends and family members and due to COVID19 a fair few people could not attend, but that was not going to stop them from sealing the deal with a big kiss in front of everyone and signing the wedding registry.
We then had the wedding photoshoot after the ceremony at No.1 Martin Place which is a gem in Sydney for Wedding Photography and Video when it’s raining. You heard it from us first!
The wedding was then followed by an epic reception party at The Lemnos by Clarence House located in Belmore, one of Sydney’s finest wedding venues for all occasions.
