The morning weather started off beautiful and extremely hot because it was summer! The sky cleared out nice and blue for us and the sun blazing in full force! We made out way down from Sydney early in the morning to get started on the preparations.

So to start things off, the day started off with the bride and groom getting ready at two different houses in Canberra, Dhanushka had a small traditional Sri Lankan ceremony alongside getting ready with the bridesmaids and so did Dillan with the groomsmen back at his parents house. It is a symbol of good luck and prosperity which is always a good thing to have for the future!
The ceremony held at the Saint Christopher’s Roman Catholic Cathedral where the priests took charge of the ceremony, as they both exchanged their vowels and many emotions with all the family and friends were felt.
They walked down the aisle as guests watched and cheered them on as they exited the church!
We then had the wedding photoshoot with the bridal party after the ceremony around the area as it was quite picturesque and the flowers, it was a really hot day but we survived and so did the bridal party!
