We recently did a Q&A with her to really see what goes into planning a special event or wedding day!

1. Tell us a bit about yourself and Bubbles and Bouquets.

Bubbles and Bouquets is a wedding planning and styling business based in Sydney, NSW. In 2017, I created this business because I wanted to help educate Brides on how to plan and style their wedding and how to avoid the same mistakes I made for my own wedding. My team and I are passionate about bringing your vision to life, creating a smooth and seamless planning experience and ensuring you and your guests are having the best time.

2. What is the best thing about your job?

The couples I get to meet and work with are amazing that they do become my friends! So much so, that I even cry at their ceremony! I also really love creating that special space, atmosphere, experience for them – it’s what I love to do.

3. How would you describe your styling style?

It’s relaxed, romantic and elegant. So if you love a garden wedding with festoon lights and family dining decorated with dahlias and peonies – you’ve pretty much nailed Bubbles and Bouquets on the head.


4. What planning advice would you give a couple who’s just starting?

Create a budget! Take a moment to just sit down and figure out how much you can spend and STICK TO IT! I know it’s hard but trust me, this will help so much when you start securing all the details.

5. Is there a difference between you and a venue coordinator/manager?

Yes, most definitely! We work for you and work with your interest at our forefront. The venue coordinator works for the venue with the venue’s interest at their forefront. One does not replace the other – we do two separate things. For you, on your wedding day, we’ll be making sure everything arrives on time, rearrange the schedule if something runs late, transport your cake from outdoors to indoors if it’s raining and helping poor grandma find her way home at the end of the night. We take care of it so you don’t have to.

6. How much do you charge?

Every wedding is different so it’s hard to give a ‘blanket’ quote. Obviously a 300 guest wedding will be charged differently from a 50 guest wedding because there’s a lot more coordination involved than the 50 guest wedding. Just send us a message and we can give you a custom quote that will fit your budget – just let us know what you need.
